@jeepinbanditrider True but you can get cheap short stroke gas piston conversion kits. Apparently the army is switching to it for about 100 thousand of its M4's

oh yea, be careful shooting that fast I have shattered a RCO shooting 10 to 20 rnd bursts like that.. I didn't care cause I just turned it in and said hey this broke but it appears you may have paid for yours....

the newest RCO does have a range finder, if you line up a 19" target (ave width of a man shoulder to shoulder ) with the horizontal lines in the center you will get range, the smallest one at the bottom is 800M and all the way up to the 'RED ARROW' is 200M

Newly manufactured automatic weapons are not legal for civilian use. However, automatic weapons manufatured before the 1986 ban are legal provided the paperwork is routed and you have the $10,000-$30,000+ they now cost because of supply and demand.

Recent studies have shown that the AR series of rifles run better wet than dry. I used to be of the same train of thought when it came to lube. Less is more when I do range coaching in the Marine Corps. But after doing some research I changed my train of thought and now run extra lube on my AR. The proper term for the AR/M16's gas system is Direct Impingement. The AR is a good platform and will run like a banshee if you keep it properly lubed.
