    Just curious...Why didn't you use a standard SPDT automotive relay or even one from the junk yard? You have the Horn Switch and +12vdc on the coil. And the Horn and +12vdc on the contacts. If you didn't have a diode from the Switch to +12vdc on the coil, the switch would have too much current running through it because it would pretty much be a short, correct?

    Thanks alot I bought a set of Saturn horns which came with a relay, i didnt know hw to wire it using a relay after watching this clip it was just too easy i went on it like a pro mannn it sounds great i just need to get me a diode,, Question, IS ALL DIODE THE SAME? WHICH TO GET?

    they sound much better =P i sure wont be hesitant about using them now =P

    as far as for the alarm it seems it hasn't got much louder due to how short of burst it does, but the tone difference makes it so it is heard easier, so in my book is a win. overall it was well worth the work.

    thanks for all the help, i ended up going to the pull a part, asking for a list of lumina's and devilles. turns out they had a 2000 deville and i checked it out, it had the klaxxon horns like you were saying but a different mounting style. i got it working basically the way you showed all except the mounting spot =P

    but thanks, im not sure why i havnt sub's yet but i did now.

    Couple years ago i put horns from a 1996 chevy lumina (nice loud sound)on my fathers little toyota tercel,he loves them.
