it's amazing! but i only don't quite like how it moves both legs on each side at a time... i know that a few animals really walk like that... but it looks a bit weird...

How do you texture something like this? Did you use the built in textures and bump map it or what? I always use ms paint for my u.v. textures.

@TheWaynelds MS paint is ok. I personally like Photoshop, however Gimp is very good too and it is free. Blender 2.5 has a texture paint mode that helps a lot after you have your UV maps. However this video is way old, I made it on Blender 2.49 :( version 2.5 has many new features and lots of improvements, I definitely recommend you to give it a shot !

Seems the page is *still* not available and I really dont understand how I can download the models; I'm subscribed to both youtube and vimeo; there's no download button there for the Pterodactyl :P

Yes the Triceratop page download was under construction, it is available now.
Also I have sent you the Pterodactyl Link for a free Download as a subscriber of this channel. Thanks for your support !

Really awesome. Was about to ask for your help and guidance (Im founder of FreezingMoon org) regarding the rigs and such, but since you uploaded them, I'll go take a look myself.
I'm mainly concerned about strides for walking animations or things such as the hip bones, shouldn't they just be deleted since they don't serve any purpose? I know there's a option for having a bone not deform anyway (rather memory optimizations related concerns).
Cheers!

Thanks for your comment !...Look I did not understand much about deleting hip bones? They are key to simulate the weight of any walking creature..including human models. About stride bones at walk..well that's other story...there is always a bit of foot slip using stride bones..however they can be carefully keyed for perfection. I do not use stride bones....Thanks
