Harold Stern is a reclusive accountant living under the assumed name of Frank Jordan. In reality he has committed no crime but in his own mind he is responsible for multiple deaths. Who are his victims? People to whom he donated blood and when Lieutenant Barry tracks him down to donate blood to a nineteen year old girl, Stern adamantly refuses until he is sufficiently pressured and gives in.
There are some quite notable personalities in this episode of One Step Beyond titled, "Delusion." Harold Stern is played by Norman Lloyd whose acting credits exceed sixty film and television roles. Lloyd is still with us at ninety-five years of age! The role of Lieutenant Barry is played by David White, Larry Tate on Bewitched (1964 -1972). Marta's landlady, Mrs. Sommers, is played by Marjorie Bennett whose long and varied acting career began in the days of silent movies.
Most surprising to me is the quite young and beautiful Suzanne Pleshette as Marta Wizinski (she does look a little older that nineteen here though). Pleshette's film and television credits include the role of Annie Hayworth in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" (1963) and Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show (1972 -1978).
Finally, the program is hosted by John Newland who appears as himself.
The entire program is presented here in two parts because YouTube now allows fifteen minute uploads!

@thefairlysimple1 Ouch! I set up twenty playlists to make all of this easy. The link to all of them is in my profile section under Playlist Help. Doesn't that make it "fairly simple?" LOL You're just trying to jerk my chain but that's ok :)
I don't have any Streets of San Francisco. It's definitely not in the public domain and a little too modern anyway.
Enjoy the vids :) -Michael
