@HUTINAK There's always a back story. I jammed onstage with Tilka, Kersey, and Watkinson at a Matinee in St. Thomas in 1976.What I saw was this-Kim had TOO MUCH of a persona commensurate for the market he was catering to. This put him in the unenviable position of always having to give an answer to somebody about something, no matter who approached him. He was rolling his eyes at dumb questions before many of his fans living now, were born. Put yourself in his shoes, times the YEARS....

I've seen much of Kim on TV throughout the years (and also talked with him a few times as he lived very close by), and I've have to say this is correct. "Head up the ass" doesn't necessarily mean he's not a nice guy, but I can hardly see industry people taking his comments seriously You either get Kim's meaning or you don't, and Kim doesn't really seem to care either way - he just wants to do his thing. Having much talent doesn't necessarily mean you're a success (now). Pls comment Hutinak.

Kim is a super nice guy. I've met him a number of times. Although Terry Watkinson doesn't agree with me.......

A lot of great musicians shoot their careers in the foot with bad attitude - Ronnie Montrose comes to mind, great guitarist but after a while nobody wants to work with you.
