  • Bow wound way too tight. No expression. Harsh sound. Played much too slow. No phrasing. Meh.

  • @ViolaObsessionable I appreciate constructive criticism, but you are being a bit harsh. As a musician, you should be more sensitive to fellow musicians, especially fellow violists. No one is perfect, please remember that when commenting in the future.

  • bowing is perfect!

  • Thank you!

  • ok guys...the discussion about if violin is better than viola is STUPID... thats neither here nor there... they are both great musical instruments, they take time and hard work to master, and what do they both have in common???

    ..THEY BOTH MAKE COOL NOISE!

    got it??

  • Yes! Thank you!

  • My dear Cristleclear... your video was the first one I selected when I was looking for an example of what this piece sounds like. I am an intermediate amateur viola player, and found your video to be an excellent intro to the intricacies of this piece. Thank you for posting it!

  • @cristleclear that's no excuse to lay back from achieving perfection.

  • You are very good. (: How long have you been playing Viola? :D

  • WONDERFUL!!

  • Very well done! I am playing this solo as a tryout for my symphonic orchestra at my highschool, and this really helped. Thanks alot!

  • this song is dumb yo i can play beta :P

  • I loved it! The way you move around while playing shows that you really get into it. Way to go, I am still learning how to play and this video helped a lot actually.

  • @cristleclear My dear, music is not about sensitivity...you take all you know and everything which everyone else has to offer and bring it all into the open. My simple bluntness is from the real world. You mess up in public and people will not be providing criticism at all, it will just be "That was horrible" and they move on. I made a quick justified analysis and left what I heard and saw. What I would like would be another recording, going back and comparing present and past.
