its a"cajun "diatonic "acc. there r several acc. makers in south louisiana. my dad played with the "best .. amede" ardoin".. in the early thirties.

It's an old Creole brand accordion if I remember correctly.

Octa died in the 90's. I think that may be an Acadian accordion, or at least it sounds like it to my ears. I could be wrong

What make of accordion are you playing and what key is it in?
I just downloaded your album with Hector and love it, Especially your version of Cajun Hot Shoes. I hope to play it half as good someday. Hard to do on an Arriette.

Octa Clark, a legend in traditional cajun music. How can anyone not like this. it makes me proud to be from Louisiana.
@Kewl, I would have to respectively disagree about this being more of a Creole/Zydeco standard, it was a Cajun song long before Zydeco was only regarded as a string bean.
