  • This is giving me a Björling feeling!

  • He's good / goose bumps !!!!

  • @JRCSKC

I too hear the marvellous Bjorling timbre in his voice and have dubbed him heir to the throne of the (otherwise) Incomparable Jussi.

  • Don't know where i have been but just discovered Calleja on youtube. Have been listening to clips from 2007 on. His timbre and hue and releases were much warmer in the early (age 29?) than 09 & 010. Then I hear the live in performance of La Donna Mobile in Jan 011 & he morphs into another level of maturity. Understand all this fine critiquing has come after 2 whole hours. I do hear a brighter, silky Bjorlingnesque so I very anxious to hear what he becomes in 5 years.

  • I honestly don't know what is there to dislike about this piece. Also, if one doesn't like it, why bother clicking at all?

  • Splendid!

  • He is so fantastic sounds like he stepped right out of the golden age of operatic singing!

  • Excellent legato!!

  • Awesome

  • Perfect.
