These are 10 reasons why I switched from using an iPhone 3G to a Blackberry Bold. NOTE: The only reason I have my wife's and 3 kids e-mail accounts set up on iPhone is because none of their phones have e-mail capability. They all check their own e-mail when we're traveling in the car and everyone respects each other's e-mail account. I've also got over 9,000 contacts on the Blackberry and the iPhone contacts program crashed when I pushed that many to it (even before pushing photos, music, and movies). The Blackberry Bold runs the address book no problem with that many contacts. I love Apple, have all Apple computers, have 9 iPods in our household of 5, but after 10 months of use, the iPhone fell short. I might consider getting an iPod Touch when the next generation comes out when it can shoot video like the new iPhone 3Gs. In the meantime, the Blackberry shoots video, e-mails it, and is a power user device. Separate from this video I still have several iPods to use in the car, though I could use the Blackberry. For the car, I found the iPhone required too much attention to use as an iPod and ultimately I reverted to using an iPod video 60GB as the iPod in the car.

  • I use a BlackBerry 9780 for work because it's secure with BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) and Email reliability and I use the IPhone 3GS for personal use.

They both have their pros and cons. The biggest con for the IPhone is the battery life something Apple has yet to seriously address. The biggest con for BlackBerry is RIM's lack of vision for better useful apps and marketing.

The bickering of which phone is better makes no sense as both phones are good and will only get better.

  • @bmxrider9871 : that video is from 2009, that method wasn't put in the iphone then...

  • @xthesickbeatzx Except for my dad (has his own business) and my mom (manages a business) were talked into an iphone by a family friend (also owns his own business) because he said it blows blackberry out of the water. I personally like blackberry but coming from my dad and mom and his good friend iphone is just as good for business, this guy just doesnt know how to set his shit up on iphone otherwise he would like it more

  • blackberry + ipod touch = my loves ;P LOL

  • This argument of which phone is better is never black and white....first of all blackberry is more of a business phone... iPhone is more for games and music...depends what you like and what you need from a phone

  • I dont even know why I'm watching this I have an android :)

  • Blackberry is so 2000 and late

  • that was 2009 guys.

soon is Siri going to take over control of the hole world.
