ugh, this play here epitomizes Lindros' career in Philly. People forget he was the best player on the ice in game 6.
so many close calls at winning the cup for the Flyers - 2000 and 2004 and 1987 Flyers will always hurt the most for me

@rg78cheese You idiot, that sick play had exactly everything you described Gretzky possessed. The difference is, Lindros was the only player capable of making such a play.Don't try too hard,it's simply pointless, this play made everybody's jaw drop.Open your eyes and ears.Lindros doesn't pale,he equals the best, and having not been headhunted,he would've challenged some of Gretzky's records.
-
@88BigEtrain Oh, and the sucking. He was fantastic at that, and getting hurt and paling in comparison to players like Gretzky who had room around them because they played with skill and finesse, speed, patience, and hockey sense.

@Flerg3 Hope you have taken time to watch Bobs, probably the best lateral movement goalie in the NHL today, its a shame the coaching staff insisted on starting the same goalie shown in this video thats 11 years old now....

Welcome to the arguably most amazing play that hockey world will have ever seen.Lindros woke up sleepy, shocked,in desbeliefand disoriented Devils' crowd. As you can tell with "The Greatest One" on the ice you're not safe with even three seconds left on the clock.Only Lindros was capable of such play. This seems physically impossible-his hand-eye coordination, the strength, the brute force, the patience, the calmness, being aware of his surroundings-yet Lindros made it look so easy.
-
This video is a true gem,the evidence of Lindros' greatness.Utterly inhuman and virtually impossible to be able to pull such thing off in 3 seconds, one might think.Well,Eric "The Greatest One"Lindros did pull that sickness off.No other player could have ever been capable of such thing including Mario and Wayne. And why?Because they didn't possess his overall complexity, the drive, the hunger, the strength, the power.
-
@ObeloViper95 Where did I say those two didn't win anything?I said those two have nothing on Lindros in complexity, meaning they weren't capable of things that Lindros wasa master at.Plus they didn't have three, sometimes four players on their back like he did. They had so much open space,no one would attack them, they had a top notch protection on the ice.You can see Gretzky having no players around him in 8 feet radius let alone being physically challenged by the opposition.
-
@ObeloViper95 Dude,If it wasn't that close, they would've called it no goal right away wouldn't they? But that's not the point. The point is this was an absolutely a sick fucking play by the most complete player ever. And all this in three seconds.Obviously you don't see, because your hatred makes you blind.I won't bother to respond to your "keep his head up" comment as I have numerous times. That's how weak that argument is.
-
why is this titled disallowed? its just not a goal.... not disallowed..... go cry about another concusion lindros.... or just keep ur head up like a real hockey player....to late for that though....
Damn I wish ESPN still had hockey...fuck NBShit and Pierre " I suck dick for a living" McGuire
