This is a documentation video captured on an online proxy server site called youhide.com. The original video is presented at http://seo.mhvt.net/blog/ with resolutions of 900 x 675 pixels.

As ad companies and other parties all fail to stop malware-scan.com's malicious scheme, we advise that you avoid any website displaying DotTunes.Net's orange Flash ad. Yes. We have informed all concerned parties including Canep Media, DotTunes.net, Youhide.com, domain registrar about this problem. But innocent Internet users are still redirected to the malware-scan.com's spam website.

As shown in this video, one is not just redirected to malware-scan.com's spam website against their will but also forced to download a Windows-based program containing a computer virus known as Downloader.MisleadApp.

By the way, it seems that malware-scan.com's website is hosted somewhere in Russia.

  • Just back up everything except system files and put it back after reinstalling OS.

  • what if one does not have a mac but a pc?

  • You may want to reinstall your OS, which I did a week ago, if you want to get rid of all suspicious files.
