  • anyone knows who rules green earth????

  • @hano9201 The president? They don't really tell you who is in control of the governments in Advance Wars, although i guess Kanbei could be seen as the Emperor of Yellow Comet. I think the other countries' COs like Nell and Olaf just command the army and aren't actually in power as it were.

  • I don't remember the last Black Hole theme in any of the games... which is it?

  • its from dark conflict

  • stormy times i think

  • where did you get the flags for each country?

    and Grimm is awesome!

  • i found then on advance wars net, they have sprites, music etc

  • @01RIE01 Just like Sturm in AW2, I don't think Caulder was really intended for traditional multi-player, since they work better as COs to give other players handicaps or in 3 vs. 1 situations. I think AW1 and DS were more balanced all-around, though.

  • @hano9201 On that note, though, I'm not sure that means he's supposed to be the leader of the nation, since Green Earth is the only one without a clearly defined commander-in-chief. However, that may be because Green Earth is supposed to represent Europe, as opposed to a single country like the other nations, so it wouldn't make as much sense to have a leader who's in charge of all of Europe.

  • @hano9201 I used to think it was Eagle, but Dual Strike kind of implies that, if anyone, it's Drake, for two reasons. First off, in the campaign, you fight clones of Olaf and Kanbei, who are the leaders of their respective countries (of course you don't fight Nell for Orange Star, but she never makes an appearance as a CO in the main campaigns), while you fight Drake for Green Earth. Second, on the CO select screen, Olaf and Kanbei are the first options for their countries, and Drake is for GE.

  • @tm2cruz yeah thats true, but they can be repaired EVERYWHERE, if they are in the co zone, and his co zone is quite large

  • @01RIE01 I know... But I think if you use Clauder, it will use your funds to regenerate the units also... (I guess)

  • @tm2cruz Yeah I like unit promotion too, but the new system of co-power and co-zone is the best. Strategy is now more important instead of a co with strong effect en powers. Ofcourse, with an equally divided map, nobody can defeat caulder. xd

  • @01RIE01 Yup, I agree. They're both great ^_^

One thing I like from Days of Ruin is unit promotion

  • @tm2cruz Np, yeah the music is way more serious, less childless. And the graphics too. Dual Strike and Days of Ruin are both great games in my opinion.
