This song shows what is lacking in most country lyrics, originality. I wish that Country would draw more from contemporary folk. Zac Brown is great but Ray Lamontagne is on another level then almost everyone.

I love that people always berate each other over which version of a song is better. I'm giving Ray the slight edge for writing this tune, but Zac Brown's demonstrates his talent and understanding of the music, and the diversity and evolution of country music. I love cover tunes that do something different with the original; a reinterpretation is much more interesting than a remake. FFDP's cover of "Bad Company" is terrible. But Perfect Circle's cover of Lennon's "Imagine" is amazing.
