They can't use a lot of polys for every single ped on street. They are mean't to seen from far away (and from top) and for a very small time(<2sec), and in theory player should not be able reach that place. So they dont waste time making this models, this saves time and performance.

There's nothing wrong with that texture. Many games have low quality texture on random people who are too far to see so that your console or pc don't lag, only problem what I see with these is that their walking and running is so lame looking, even though parkour cops and others have realistic moves

@jrex2006 Yeah but making up a full city of obstacles that let you travel from building to building would have been near impossible, would have added ages to the games release date.

You see EA didn't give a shit about texturing the bottom of the map and the one woman in the 'gang' has stiff nipples. Achievement, find the gang of prostitutes on the street corner :-P

@UKTuTS EA didn't make the game. They only sold it. DICE made it. They didn't texture people because you aren't supposed to see them up close. You can blame EA for giving DICE a deadline though. If they had more time they could have fixed some things that let you get out of the map.
