I won a Ergotech 100-D16-B03 for Christmas! The contest was held at WideScreenGamingForum.com and the prize was donated from a company that specializes in all sorts of monitor mounts MountedConcepts.com

This is just a few video clips I took today while converting my setup from the normal monitor stands to the new Ergotech stand.

Consider it a preview to the upcoming review of the unit.

No editing here, just spliced together all the little miniclips I took today. Im still sick so having trouble talking and my Creative Vado footage is low quality and a pain to edit.

Hope you guys enjoy, I know I will :D

  • How necessary do you believe the articulating wing to be, I don't really have a need to move my monitors at any time, but I want it to look normal with 3x23" monitors. Thanks for the response!

  • @travisduckro It comes with them actually if you order from where I got it. The bonus they gave me was the extending arms and they are not needed but nice if your going with 24"

  • May i ask what type of graphics card you're using, and system? I have a Dell Studio XPS with only a 350W power supply so wondering how you have it hooked up, thanks for your help!

  • @lg123xyz a single ATI 5870 gpu runs all 4 of my monitors (the TV above is also a monitor) and it runs most games maxed out without issues with exceptions like Crysis and Metro 2033 since those games are so demanding when playing on all 3 screens.

My power supply is a PC Power & Cooling 750w they make the best PSU's out there and there 750w is probably better than most other brands 1000w+

  • @ViciousXUSMC Great thanks appreciate it.

  • @lg123xyz YW. When setting up the monitors I would say there was enough space on there especially with those telescoping arms that you could even rotate the monitors from landscape to portrait without taking them off the stand.

  • Just got mine today. I'm planning on using it for my 3 24" viewsonic. I noticed that you're using the telescopic extensions. Does this require to mount 3 24" monitors? If so, I'm screwed. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

  • @ViciousXUSMC Ya thats sweet cuz 3x24" you need a pretty wide area. Its between the Ergotech and the Ergotron but I'm leaning towards the Ergotech, as it seems to offer more customization.

  • That set up is soooo goddam sexy.

  • @lg123xyz Yeah those 3 monitors of mine are 24" Dell Ultrasharp U24010's
