It is nice seeing Ms. Schmidt when she isn't dressed as a man. She's great in Strauss pants roles, but this is lovely.

hopefully you all noticed the lutenist is playing "left-handed." His lute was made to point to the right instead of the left.

Thank you so much for sharing this treasure with us; now we can compare with the other performances on YouTube. Only Jordi Savall includes the drum flourishes; did he add them? Harnoncourt's direction is always more lively and interesting in this music, and I prefer the singing here as well.
