it's short for "Kapitän-Leutnant" (Captain-Lieutenant), the usual military rank of a u-boat captain. comes after "Oberleutnant zur See" (Lieutenant 1st class [navy])

Does anyone else have the problem when surface, the game gets really slow? When I go up to the bridge, the watch crew is using "invisible" binoculars and if my periscope goes above water, I enter free view above water, or I simply go up to the bridge, the games slows down. The game works perfect for me for everything else. Any suggestions?
