CommPortal Communicator Mobile is a powerful mobile softphone designed for carriers --Built on Metaswitch. It's available on the iPhone, iTouch and iPad and handsets running Android OS V2.1 and above. It provides a unique mobile extension to any phone line, delivering voice over the licensed or unlicensed data channel of single or dual radio devices. Consumers can take advantage of all the same services that they are used to in their home or office, even while on-the-go!
By leveraging the exclusive Metaswitch SIP Provisioning Server, we remove the need for complex user configuration. This allows service providers to easily deploy CommPortal Communicator Mobile on a wide-scale to enterprise and consumer subscribers.
Tight integration with Service Assurance Server gives network managers easy-to-use, powerful troubleshooting tools making deployments simple to maintain.
CommPortal Communicator Mobile offers superior phone experience by enabling HD voice calls using G722. It can also negotiate audio using G729, G711, ilbc and GSM. Call quality is ensured by administrator controlled DSCP for signaling and media, and user controlled settings for noise reduction. Along with TCP and UDP, signaling can be transported securely over TLS.
