But in order to know if the gamer really wants a PR on their roster (aside from on a whim) they'd at least need to know or someone who does like the show to properly rate them. In other words, if someone has Peter Griffin fighting and he suddenly turns into a ninja, besides laughing, non-fans'll be WTF?! and miss out on the joke.

I think the thing is that mugen gamers don't really care how the charcters act outside of mugen, they only care about how they act inside mugen

Not really, the official PR games have always been cheap tie-ins/rip-offs of better games. Show-wise, its gone downhill since Disney bought it and they stopped hiring actual athletes in favor of teen drama actors.

It's kinda werid. Outside of mugen everyone seems to hate any and all power rangers. In mugen though they seem to be quite popular.
