This is clip 1 of 8 for this video. Homebuilding has a high level of impact on the economy and the environment. Smart growth initiatives are addressing environmental impact issues. Despite administrative and governmental controls, the homebuilding process creates an increase in sediment and a decrease in stormwater return. Incorporating BMPs into the development process will help reduce these impacts. These features can also add value to property and increase profits.
