Based on one of the most talked about books in years and a #1 New York Times best-selling phenomenon, "The Help" stars Emma Stone ("Easy A") as Skeeter, Academy Award®--nominated Viola Davis ("Doubt") as Aibileen and Octavia Spencer as Minny—three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960s, who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk. From their improbable alliance a remarkable sisterhood emerges, instilling all of them with the courage to transcend the lines that define them, and the realization that sometimes those lines are made to be crossed—even if it means bringing everyone in town face-to-face with the changing times.

Deeply moving, filled with poignancy, humour and hope, "The Help" is a timeless and universal story about the ability to create change.

  • This movie is quite dramatic but in this trailer it's look like a stupid comedy

  • @methesupergirl it was amazing, i went to the sneak 2 hours ago..wonderful movie ! watch it

  • While I was reading the book I was imagining Leighton Meester as Miss Hilly. I can't wait to watch the movie.

  • This movie is one of the reasons why I thumb down some stupid racist jokes

  • Spectacular movie.. went and saw it not knowing anything about the story.. basically not expecting anything.. Definitely moving.. one of my new faves.. must see!!!

  • Went to see it back in september. Great movie but wear waterproof makeup and bring some tissues. Some poor lady broke down in sobs at the end

  • I went to see it this week. It's amazing, I loved it. Although commercials like this lead me to think it was somewhat of a comedy, and it is very much NOT.

  • mhhhmmm!! 1:17

  • Really wanting to see the movie. Haven't read the book but still interested
