  • Crystal bowls and celtic harp is also a very good match b.t.w!

  • @Hildegard71 Must try that! Although I don't have any crystal ones, I have a few metal bowls, and use them quite a lot in my organisational work (where people play them as part of creating a soundscape). For some reason, these bowls always attract attention and people love getting them to work, then once they do, they won't let go of them!

  • Yeahh..crystal bowl, I wish I have one! Mark, do you believe in de healing effects of crystal bowls?

  • @Hildegard71 Hi there - well, although this video was done as a favour for someone, when I broke a finger in my right hand some years ago, I visited a shop in Glastonbury where they sold these crystal bowls which have a handle on the bottom, and the man got it going and invited me to put my hand in it. It was very comforting - the vibrations did really seem to help. So certainly directly, I think they can heal things. And taking part in this singing was pretty amazing as a group experience!

  • I love the way this seems to slow down time and I'm mesmerised by the beautiful, shifting harmonies in that big space.
