This song is a response to Brand New's song "Seventy Times 7." Jessie Lacey of Brand New's girlfriend cheated on him with John Nolan of Taking Back Sunday. John called Jessie to tell him and Jessie said, "Is that what you call tact? You're as subtle as a brick in the small of my back. So let's end this call, and end this conversation." That's why these lyrics are in both of the songs. The two have now made up and are friends again and even perform these two songs together.

@sk8brder40 yeah man, I've only just recently gotten into both of the bands. I listened to TBS back in middle school and then I just related to Brand New's lyrics a little more. But remember that first comment was five months ago and to be honest I've been listening to TBS more often than Brand New the past month or so hahaha

@beastlyman911 Thanks a lot man! I can totally respect one liking brand new over tbs. Although I'm more of a TBS guy, they are definitely both amazing bands who I have loved for about 6-ish years now. I feel bad saying I've never seen Brand New live though, a lot of friends have been telling me they're great live

yeah not jesse, brand new and tbs were friends then they started to hate each other. this song is about why they do hate eachother. its over a girl or something. but tbs is way better. way better lyrics.
