@MrFlyguy124 I was instructed to by the tower. If I remember correctly there was another cessna landing ahead of me and because I was going fast to try to keep up with the 787 there wasn't enough space between me and him.

You should slide in right behind its left wingtip because its generating lift and you can get some of that to increase your TAS. I read that in the Bible

This is a pretty cool video but a little too close for comfort for me. Its a good thing you stayed high on final as the Boeing slid past. Those wingtip vortices could cause some major problems if you had encountered them. But non the less the video is too cool.
