  • But that's the point, they both have the original hardware set-up

  • Ye. I agree. Lets tell the whole world that Microsoft are shit and everyone should use linux.

What the hell are you talking about mate. XP is fantastic OS. There are lots of dumb users but im sorry theres no linux version of ANY of the apps i use (the whole CS3 suite, 3DsMAX, video production stuff in general).

Linux is not the be all and end all of OSes.

You guys have topen your minds a little... wine can run both CS3 suite and 3Dsmax flawlessy in linux.... and if you doesn't like 3Dsmax emulation get the maya for linux

  • nice music:)

  • cough*cloudbook is better cough*

  • :) xp is a good os and i love ubuntu at the same time even though i cannot use photoshop(or illustrator, indesign,..).

i don't want to start anything here but my point is, xp is the best OS that ever came from microsoft since the release of vista. that's all.

  • and when I play a game, I always turn all the effects on

  • I overclocke my eeepc to 1080mhz and installed 2g ram... poser7 and 3dsmax9 runs just fine after installing the vga scale driver. Who says the eeepc is not powerful enough? I can even run nfs9 on it with a playable framerate (around 15 frames average)

  • Of course no one is about to try and run that on an eee. My point was that you were saying windows was hopeless.

  • Firstly, I didn't tell anyone to specifically use Linux (though it is one of the best operating systems for these devices). XP has never been a "fantastic" OS, the only people I ever hear saying that are people who have never used anything else. And if you want to run CS3 or 3DsMAX on an Eee PC, good luck with that... Seriously, grow a brain.

  • No I have not used "xp lite" but I will try it. Thanks
