  • ADHD should not be thought of as a "disorder" it is a condition with positive ramifications. Yourself or loved one is increadibly talented and we must recognize this. There is too much emphasis on how we can't function. We must realize the amazing amount of talent given to us. Living with it can be hard but the upsides are worth with. I have it and I know this for a fact.

  • I love the fact that I have ADD...

I don't know how I could LIVE WITHOUT it! :D

  • There is this compelling theory that ADHD is in fact not a disorder, but rather the normal way for children to behave, and that expecting them to sit down and shut up for eight hours a day in a classroom is actually the problem.

  • @Girlpump35 ... you probably have what is called "enthusiasm" and an interest in life! you dont have ADHD based on what you described to me.

  • i smell bullsh#@ from these two speakers! children are developing and learning and coping...try to get your brand new car fixed at the shop id@#.

  • i dont want adhd, well, im 13, and everyone at my school thinks im a BITCH!!!! but they dont know i CANT CONTROL MY IMPULSES. and i just EXPLODE!!!! AND ADHD IS REAL, IF ANYONE THINKS ITS A FAKE AND IS JUST MADE UP, I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY: " SCREW U ASS HOLES!!! "

  • Mmmm, I will bet that people on medication are more likely not to abuse drugs later on in life, haha.

  • Totally agree with Dr Jensen: Biggest problem is under diagnosis and misdiagnosis of ADHD. Remember: ADHD the problem with diagnosis and treatment largely rests on the simple fact that we are diagnosing ADHD by superficial appearances, and not sufficiently focusing on underlying brain function - for specific recommendations on more functional diagnostic questions do take a look at my several videos on this pressing subject.

  • So when they are trying to find the truth about this...they get a woman and a child molester?

  • @y00ch I also have it and must ask what upsides?

  • @Melindaca2 You have a point if you were refering to one instance of a spoiled 4 year old getting Ritalin instead of proper parenting.
