This Congress approved funding for Sesame Street in Palestine last year. But one member is holding up the money. That means there's no Elmo...Only Farfour teaching extremism.
I'm not the only one who wants Congress to release the funding. The Israeli government also wants us to release it.
Congress should release the money it already approved for Sesame Street...and all programs that support positive development in Palestine.
The Internet plus freedom of speech has the potential to spread great ideas- but it can also spread some horrible ideas. Comment sections can become a bully pulpit for some people. Misinformation abounds, so does rudeness. Thankfully there are bravely honest, intelligent, dignified and compassionate people like Ellison who know how important it is to help stop the hate.

If I didn't know better I'd have thought this was some kind of a joke... so much for the Dems being serious about cutting spending. And what exactly is a "positive role medal?"

Question is-why are we the taxpayer responsible to pay for this? If people want to voluntarily financially support this, fine. But, NPR has proved itself to be unaccountable and irresponsible including biased. Mostly due to, individuals paying to get thier ideology promoted.
