  • This ride is very good for relaxing, or if you need to rest your legs after walking from World Showcase, usually there isn't a long line and you can relax in the AC for about 20 mins.

  • We are fomenting rebellion.... -- here is what we may do:

first, print out, headsized, a photo of Jeremy Irons' face(for example, the shot at tinyurl com 83lxdzt ...

take it with you on to Spaceship Earth...

hold it in front of your face when they take your photo for the silly animated stuff later...

Jeremy Irons masks , the Guy Fawkes masks of Spaceship Earth :)

  • @UndercoverTourist I think it is a shame they got rid of the Jeremy Irons narration & the music that went with it--it was so poignant & moving, the hair would stand up on the back of my neck through the whole ride. Now to me it's kind of a let down, the grandeur taken away, replaced by less moving script & the "you are in the cartoon" bit.

It was a grand&EPIC ride that contained a message of grand hopes for the future- now to me it just seems to be a less epic Siemens ad with tech ending-bits.

  • Is that Judi Dench? It used to be Jeremy Irons

  • @UndercoverTourist What's the Jeremy Irons version?

  • @AFL489 It's still a good ride, but I miss the ending from the original ride. In the original, there are scenes at the end that show the (then) potential future of communication, like video chat with people on the other end of the globe.
