  • hey, i am a mechanical eng student and i have questions about your cheese cutter.

Did you use stepper motors for the cam and the conveyor belt??

What is the circuit you used??

Did you used stainless steel material ??

    thank you

  • A M A Z I N G!!!!!!!!¡

  • Kids, don't mind that comment about "useless and lazy-inspired". If you have also done the work to create machined shops drawings(with tolerances), assembly drawings with parts list and cost it's like REAL mechanical engineering work. Don't forget to create an Engineering Change/Approval documentation for production manager to sign. Furthermore, if you can get a marketing student to find someone willing to buy. You can quit school.

  • Hey, don't forget a safety system. Electronic and mechanical failsafe. Redundant foot switch, lock out/tag out and mechanical cage guards. Also, the little OSHA warning sticker showing a "crushed finger". Don't laugh this is what "industry would require" and this boring/necessary task is mechanical engineers ownership. Perhaps, a 2nd revision could be another project. Another fact of real engineering and manufacturing. Multiple revisions. Good luck.

  • nice, i want to make one of those for carrots and potatoes. well same concept but i have a different design in mine.

  • nice ..

  • WANT SO BAD!!!!!!!

  • lmfao wach the cheese cutter deluxe 3000

  • I think the idea is to set out to create something and then successfully create it. Something like this was probably for a class and serves as practice. And your quote is useless and lazy-inspired; it's far too easy to sit behind your computer and criticize.

  • this is awesome. mark is awesome :)
