Black American Woman Illegally Jailed, Abused, Denied Parental Rights

April Griffin gave birth to a son as the result of a sexual assault and has been imprisoned for the past 2 years, in lock-down, for 'interfering with the custody of a child' and refusing to give up her parental rights although there was never custody hearing! We absolutely need to drum up support for her, pressure the media to give this story coverage, and pressure the government to release her.

AHHHH have you checked out how many women shelters there are in Canada???? Do you think each and every one of those women needing help ACTUALLY GET HELP? Each one has a story just as bad if not worse then this story yet we don't hear about them WHY? I've heard horror stories and my own isn't all that pretty - totally illegal, total corruption in our own court systems and nobody talks about it. The Globe said to me "this is so common it's not news"

But what is different about this story is that it exposed corruption throughout the US justice system: judges and DAs operating without having sworn oath to the Constitution, media being censored, talk show hosts refusing to touch the story. since this lady was convicted her file should be public record and that means the public has a right to see those records find out from there just what she was convicted of and the proof they are using to keep her in jail, contact local television stations to do a report where i live they had a few on there i wish the lady all the luck she can use to get out of jail and get her child back

People have to understand why this type of shit happens. The United States has been in control of its own government since of the 1950's.
