  • Also If you need to keep records on your person code it. like your SS number instead of 123 use 567 or add 4 to your numbers. Seems like noone in the justice system wants to help. Maybe private firms will arise to do their jobs. Maybe start a web site showing these crooks with THEIR ID! A store where I worked had a clerk stealing credit cards. People would forget to take their cards back so she put them in her pocket. The store kept it quiet so did the cops! People never knew what happened!

  • Tips to help protect against identity theft: * Check credit card statements, bank documents and financial reports every month for unauthorized activity. * Protect Social Security numbers. Don't carry Social Security cards in wallets or write the number on a check. * Don't provide personal information over the phone or the internet. * Never click on links sent in unsolicited email messages. * Keep personal information in a secure place at home. ALL SPAM EMAILS = SCAM!!! Say NO to wire transfers!!
