The biggest sports news for Tissot in 2011 is the signing of Tony Parker as the newest Tissot Ambassador. A nine year NBA pro, French-born Parker plays for the San Antonio Spurs. Incredibly successful as a basketball player (he has won three championships with the Spurs and was named MVP of the NBA Finals in 2007), Parker plays guard and is already one of the career leaders for the Spurs.
Known for his speed and sweet shot, Parker got his basketball skills honestly, as the son of an American player who spent 15 years playing professional basketball in Europe, mostly in France. French, in fact, is Parker's mother tongue, but he perfected his English, and his hard-charging basketball style, during summers in the Chicago area.
"Tissot is a great brand and a great match for my style," Parker says. "I love the look of the watches. They have lots of different styles, including sporty, casual and sophisticated. It's important to me to have authentic corporate relationships throughout my career and beyond and I look forward to a long relationship with the great folks at Tissot."
@drebin2003 It is a Tissot Touch 2 Polished Titanium version, its an awesome watch, I have it, it also has clear coating (PVD) which supresses scratches so unlike the brushed titanium which is prone to scratches this one isn't. Hope this helps !
