  • what kinda shit does that "highly modified" Tempo have. I doubt it'd beat my turbo RSX-S

  • @HermieHedgehog Well even doing that it still wouldn't be anything special, you gotta turbo it or something for it to make power. And put a 5 speed in.

  • you gotta drop a sho motor in it with a turbo and a 5 speed. that'll eat some ricers

  • @HermieHedgehog The check engine light is most likely on due to an emissions part being unhooked or something, reving it high isn't gonna hurt it anymore with the light on than off. Please do not try to mod your Tempo, your 3 speed automatic will break extremely fast if you drive around beating the crap out of it and it will never be fast. I've had 4 Tempos now, they're great cars for driving around in but wont ever be fast, I suggest you buy something thats worth putting money into.

  • Not to burst your bubble or anything, but that wasn't a turbo eclipse, it was a non-turbo. You can tell by the fact it has black door handles and no sideskirts, which means it was the n/a Chrysler 420A and not the Mitsu 4G63t. The non-turbo's run about 17.9 stock, so in all honesty, your Tempo is still crappy, no matter what you bolt on to that motor its not touching any turbo DSM.

  • No wonder it's in a junkyard... You're still high-revving with the service engine soon light on.

I have a '91 Tempo I'm working on turning into a sleeper. I've already got the exhaust work done (high flow muffler and cat) and modified the intake for some extra air, as well as a power steering/AC delete to reduce parasitic power loss and shave off 30 pounds off the front, as well as stiffer springs/struts and a costom undertray for less drag. The only crappy thing is that it's an automatic.

  • That was fucking awsome!!! I'd pay to watch a ford tempo eat all those POS rice burnners. I heard you can make tempos fast by changing out the head and a few minor mods. Nice work and remember !!FORD BABY!!

  • hey good car!!! respect ford tempo racing!!

  • Lol, esa sí ke fue una metida de verga!!! jajaja
