Yeah, sure, and COD re-using it's own formula over and over and over again for five years while barely even changing one, small, insignificant thing each time while not fixing any of the bigger problems is just all fine and dandy in their books.

@kea919306 no one blasts anything for being "scripted", scripted things can be good if its done in an interesting and unpredictable way; it's just that call of duty is a highly predictable uninspired war game. the problem that these guys had with DNF is that it's not funny if you have a sense of humor that isn't family guy derivative pop culture/meme referencing garbage, and also that it's, y'know, not very well made, optimized or tested.

People blast cod for being linear and scripted but the HL series is just as linear and scripted as DNF was and people praised it

I know that, I'm just saying that Duke Nukem Forever doesn't deserve all this shit it's getting. Like these guys, they're bashing it for the stupidest fucking reasons imaginable! Talking Duke's one liners and movie quotes like they were a bad thing?! How fucking stupid do you have to be to buy a Duke Nukem game, and not expect Duke Nukem to act like Duke Nukem in his own game?! Apparently, as stupid as these guys.
