Crystalis- Mt. Sabre Arranged in Mario Paint Composer

Now, the video... this is the theme from the mountain areas of the great NES real-time RPG, Crystalis. I absolutely loved this game. Still do, but I can't play it, what with my NES being sold. But that's cool, the memory will remain.

First three parts are just the song, and the second three are ostensible "remixes". I just added a little bit more to account for the empty spaces between melodic sections. It's not really worthy of the term, but it's different enough to warrant inclusion.

I have to say, this is an IMPRESSIVE version of the song. I'm quite jealous. ROFL. Is that a new version of Mario Paint Composer, or is that their Song Arranger?

Both. The Arranger is part of version 2.0, which was new, like, 5 months ago.

First of all let me say I was absolutely thrilled to listen to this. That was just amazing and superb all at the same time. I must say, I never thought to find this particular song done on Mario paint on you tube, so a nice surprise indeed. Final question, I thought it odd you have this categorized into science, why not music or gaming? Anyway, on a last note, well done, thank you for posting it.

Crystalis is one of the most under appreciated games ever. Probably still in my top 10 games ever played, and my favorite NES game.

I think this game was better then The Legend of Zelda for the NES (incoming flaming).

I'm glad that I found this because I now remembered that I never actually beat Crystalis, now it's time to show who's the boss ;)

Love it! Crystalis was one of the best NES games of all time, no doubt about it. It's sad how underplayed it is, it beats the first two zelda games by a lot.
