Mister Bruce Greenwood is such a sweetheart in person! He plays Capt. Christopher Pike in the upcoming film "Star Trek."

We talked about his role, the optimistic view of the "Star Trek" future, and the dramatic entrance given to the great Leonard Nimoy!

Oh, by the way, I really enjoyed this film!!!!

  • The greatest tribute actor for the memorial Jeffrey Hunter in the Star Trek franchise after 44 years

  • @Baronesslace

Actually the first Captain of the Enterprise was Robert April, Pike was Second

JJ Abrahms has complete mess Star Trek up

  • @drkvenger He did a great job conveying the traits of Captain Pike that we fans saw in "The Cage" - strong-willed, snarky, resourceful, and no-nonsense, and I think that's important because Pike is a very underrated character. Because (novels and comics aside) he only appeared in the two-part "Menagerie" episode and the first pilot, most casual fans don't know about him and I appreciated how the film helped Pike finally get the respect he deserves as a captain of the Enterprise. =)
