@tomrhodes1 I said 'almost 5 years', because even after the formal declaration of peace in 1945, in both Pacific and European Theaters, the Allies still faced small but intense pockets of resistance coming from the enemy, who remained loyal to Hitler/Hirohito. Naturally, medics and nurses, all servicemen, never stopped working even though the war was over in paper.

@kronos251 the americans joined the war in 1941 the war ended in 1945. thats four years

Doc Roe is really my inspiration to keep striving to become a combat medic one day, god bless the USA and our boys in the Middle East.

Doc Roe was the best medic in all of Easy...I Praise him and i know that if i was wounded in a battle...i just know he would come running through the smoke for me... Doc Roe will forever be remembered for his actions in World War 2....

Doc Roe didn't take it, because his nerves broke down. Plus the fact that the nurse said something about giving up, that she'd rather "work in a butcher shop than cure another wounded man"...
They'd been around death 24/7 for almost 5 years. Its Tough being a medic or nurse during war. But countless lives depend on them, so they have to endure. They have to keep sane.
