Late Gate

New quad gates at Riverdale Park. Second set to prevent drive-arounds, but they delay going down so as not to trap drivers rushing thru. But in this case, they didn't go down soon enough. The train was stopped just short of crossing, and when it started up, it reached the crossing before the second set of gates descended. Look carefully.

That is how the crossings are on Sim City Deluxe. It gits really annoying while driving a train because the Sims ignore the train and get ran over. Then my train automatically slows down drastically.

I work for UPRR. Wish I couldve been the one to report it to the safety hotline! Theyre usually pretty good about that kind of stuff, it only takes them about two months to get the thing fixed!!

Nice catch. They still haven't got these gates right. On Sunday they were down for over 5 minutes after a train stopped under the bridge!
