@metalfish24 King crabs are very distantly related to spider crabs. Spider crabs are true crabs like blue crabs, and Dungeness crab. King crabs belong to a group that is related to the hermit crabs. You can easily tell the difference by counting legs. True crabs have 10 legs (claws included) that are visible. King crabs and their relatives have 8 (the 5th pair is actually present but are completely hidden under the shell and only visible when dissected out.

I know they're in the same family. But king crabs tend to be thicker and bigger.

I filmed this at the Sunshine City aquarium in Tokyo (Ikebukero). I was told the fish is eating a sardine.. but I don't know for sure.
