@yancybutler She's always had that tape on :) Saw her perform 16 years ago and that tape was there-to hold her Lee Press-on nails on! She freakin' rocks. And will always have my heart...

Reminds me once again of EXACTLY why I fell for Ani all those years ago (when I pulled my car off the road to use a pay phone to pledge to an NPR station who dared to play her "Self-Evident", a song and a songwriter I'd neve3r heard till that moment!)

@kevykev38 she developed tendonitis due to playing all the time and now often wears weird looking tape on her fingers.. I'm not familiar with Chet atkins...hang on youtubing...

@yancybutler I hate ACDC.. "She plays her fingers to the quick" What's that suppose to mean? Do you mean she finger picks like Chet Atkins? If you think that? Your wrong. I haven't seen Dylan play anything good really. And i had to play some of his stuff in a band i was in. I saw Ani in concert at the Melody tent in The Cape. It was fun but i wasn't interested in the music. The opening act was a friend of mine His music i like.

@kevykev38 considering that she plays her fingers to the quick and can make a guitar sound like a full band uuuhhh...yearh. Best guitarist though is a girl named kaki king. this isn't hair metal chord playing like AC/DC you know.
