@HeavensFates Congrats and goodluck man...They aren't bad trucks it's just when they get high miles they burn oil, and the tranny was slipping in it but other than that good truck. I'm gonna forever own a Chevrolet...love my Trailblazer hands down the best vehicle i've ever owned! 230,000 miles all original tranny and motor and no problems only burns a half a quart of oil in 7000 miles.

@talltmexican817 Yea it died at about 200,000 miles it was totalled and in desperate need of a rebuild i think it was a quart of oil a week that it was burning. was a pretty good truck though.

i see you guys are talking about the oil problem od dodge and tranny problems.

mine has the 2005 dodge ram 4.7 l V8 magnum, with 63 000 and not a single drop oil burn, no transmision problem,never, plus i have snow plow on it and spreader.load levelers to put more weight and will not sink,and haul 16 feet double axle trailer with cars on it to bobcat to gravel. since i bought it in 2007, only reglar maintance, nothing else.

@amdrewi true mine only has 50000kms and already burns oil and has a noise in the transfercase dont wanna be meen but they are only there for looks. I litaraly go threw a jug of oil a week.

nice i got a 2000 gmc sierra 4.8l it seems to be comparable in acceleration i love it i also like dodge maybe my next truck will be a dodge ram.

gotta love these smaller motors sometimes.. my dodge has the 318 but its styled like a quickburn. i only have about 130,000 on it. but i hardly drive it (its my baby) lol i usually just drive my little toyota pickup around its got a stage 2 lcengineering efi motor in it and if i remember correctly its either 4.88s or 5s for the ratio.. i dont remember haha. been thinking about swapping the dodge to a 383 and putting 9.11 gears in it, i dont even know if they make them that size anymore haha

wow im really happy to miles that high on one! i just bought an 06' ram with the 5.7 i read about some people sayin "i hope mine makes it to 70k".. lil bastard better make it alot more then that! haha but ive seen many with 150k + nice ride
