Tombstoning gone wrong

Tombstoning is a high-risk activity, which involves jumping or diving from a height into water.

During the past five years, there have been 139 tombstoning incidents requiring an emergency response, with 12 resulting in fatalities and many more resulting in spinal and limb injuries.
