St. Timothy's Students talk about their new school 2009

St. Timothy's students give their impressions on the school that is being built for them. The current school was started to meet the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in and around the Moshi community in Tanzania. They are currently being faced with eviction from the current building as it's a rented facility and the Ministry of Education requires registered schools to have an owned premises.

St. Timothy's School was started by Mama Hope's community based partner Tanzania Children Concern in Moshi, Tanzania. Currently Mama Hope is funding the building of a new school in the Newland village outside Moshi for Orphaned and Vulnerable children. St. Timothy's School opened in 2010 and serves 300 children in the area.

you know, its amazing how there are so many of these kids and people that are eager to learn and want to do something with their lives out there. What do you guys think the answers would be if you asked western children what their favorite thing about school is? there is just so much potential in this world to cultivate. To bad that there is such little focus on people and lives and instead more focus on money and personal gain. one of these kids could be the surgeon that saves your life one day

tbh i always wondered why would someone build a school with his own money... but now i know.. i wish i had money to give to these children..
