  • @david91304 well you see i was married to wanda jackson back 1955, we lived in a modest little cabin by the woods, every morning she brought me coffee in my favorite cup, got out are guilars and just sang sang sang as the sun peeked out over the hills while the little birds joined in, huh huh huh sorry, guess i was wishful" dreaming" hell

  • @LES6723 You got it baby.

  • @david I love many of her recordings & have seen her perform & have autographed photos of herj have had some collector's items including an LP autographed by her and all the band members. This rendition here is too country for me....a sweetly melancholy too impersonal take, I feel, though her voice is exquisite in the Nashville way. I go more for deep soul styled music so prefer a number of other versions. I find it quite enjoyable to listen to though, don't doubt that!

  • @strandwolf Shouldn't do that to the big hitler should they? Of course your opinion is the only one that matters anyway

  • she's no wally nelson--thank dog

  • wow quality is ammmmaaaazzzzing!!!!!!

  • @strandwolf

Did you like Wanda's cover? You didn't

  • Very best and amazing version of this song.

  • An almost note for note arrangement similar to that of a version by Brenda Lee. No surprise since the same session players as well as The Anita Kerr singers were on both sessions. Excellent.

  • WOW! amazing version!
