We don't have to sin after we are saved, but the Bible say's IF we sin, we have an advocate with the Father and He knows how to forgive sin to the backslider. I am sure Jimmy Swaggart didn't all of a sudden say he was going out and sin, but Satan has many tricks up his sleeve, especially one called pornography and Jimmy probably in a low moment of his life was ensnared. They say pornography is a hard thing to get out of your mind once you have seen it. I feel Jimmy is forgiven.

@DDBB2012 I'm weak and feeble hearted? Now who's judging who? Seems to me that you have set yourself up as the supreme judge, friend! You got the idea of repentance all wrong. To truly repent means to ask forgiveness for your sin and renounce it, turn away from it for good never to do it again! I believe Jimmy truly repented for his sin otherwise you'd hear it in the media all over again! That's all I'm saying, your being mean and hateful about it! Kind of childish don't you think?

@jyrrog You believe that because your weak and feeble hearted, you use it to sin and sin again so that you will always go back to the delusion that we are already forgiven for our sins. That being said don't judge me or try to give old advice as im already forgiven for what i believe, right? Respond to this video... As long as you believe that someone will take care of your sins for you, it results in pathologically sinning. You believe once you've sinned, you can pray and everything will be fine when that evil that makes you sin is still inside of you. Id rather work on it myself and admit to my loves ones that i am not perfect and sincerely work on getting that potential to be evil and a liar out of me on MY OWN its worked better than when i used to go to church.

@GooglFascists There wont be any need for repent as i do not follow any creed or cannon! What i meant, because you evidently need clearer words, is that people, especially evangelists and their followers, religious fanatics seem to never be able to admit to their vices and seek the real help which is within you not in some book or some person its already in yourself to acknowledge your evil and help yourself and be truthful to the ones that befriend you or give you their attention.

@DDBB2012 Are you his judge? None of us are worthy to come to Christ! None of us! Him dying on the cross is what forgives us of our sin! His shed blood, by His grace we are saved! Yes Jimmy Swaggart sinned and Yes, God has forgiven him! We need not drudge up a sin that is covered in His blood, to do that is sin on our part!

Este pode se dizer que marcou com muita intensidade sua geração o irmão Jimmy Swaggart, onde suas mensagens verdadeiramente impactou vidas, no contexto de suas pregações condenava a pratica do pecado e apontava Jesus como o único meio de Salvação, diferente dos dias atuais que alguns se dizem ser pregadores estão como ébrios deslumbrados pela fama e o brilho dos holofotes se esquecendo que o motivo unico de estarmos de pé é Jesus.
