This pilot brought back such memories. Can't stop watching. Remember seeing it back in the day. Wonderful, sweet ending. I loved watching "Love American Style" Wish some station would rebroadcast the show. Great guest stars.

Nice bit of editing to add in that TV screen image toward the end....pretty funny.

In a happy Days episode called The Skin Game, Ron Howard and Tom Bosley did a very similar TV sign-off scene.

Omg. I was a kid but too young to watch LAS. I never knew about this happy days pilot but saw the remake of the TV episode on happy days. Btw, that was the Fonz in his office and Howard Cunningham (Tom bosley) both in the TV set. Awesome trivia.....

This was the pilot that was introduced through Love American Style. I thought it was great, because I'd seen the regular episode with this story line, but never seen this alternate family.

The episode where Fonzie (still a memeber of the Falcons) wants to beat Ritchie up for sitting in his booth is from season 5. They flash back while trying to get Chachi to not join a gang. That episode is called Our Gang.
