@12bamish After the fall of Gog, I think the Church is to have times of Restitution, and then be translated (the rapture). After that the seven year futurist tribulation, and then Armageddon, Millennium, final battle with the future Gog and Magog, White Throne Judgment, eternity.

Today I think we are coming toward the fulfillment of the 6th vial, where Euphrates must be dried up (Turks/Islam).

@12bamish The Church is not the wilderness any more, but most people have a view like it is nearly extinct, NWO taking over, & final antichrist reigning (I believe in the futurist view as well), but I think that the Laodiceans’ era Church of today is to become the most powerful, not the victim of evil, but requires a big spew-out as the precursor to end times outpouring.

Dan. 12:7 scattering is answered by attaining the 1st half of Daniel 7:22 (& defeat of Gog & his hordes).

@12bamish Interesting view, but I don't see any reason for counting Greece as 4, since the Greek Empire divided into 4 parts concurrently, and were part of the same beast in Daniel.

I have heard that the first heads were Egypt and Assyria, which makes more sense, considering that Daniel was contemporary with Babylon.

You could be possible with the 8th head. I am doing the beast from the earth of Rev. 13 in a few months time.

While the Catholic Church remains the Papal States-HRE (7) took the wound replaced by 8th head in 1798, then dissolved entirely in 1870 no loner needed as the old world order was replaced by the NWO the declaration of which is on the back of the US dollar.

The church in the wilderness today is under attack from the 8th head via education but also immigration as demographics is politics and what church is about also.

Very True. Consider the Seven Heads earlier found in Rv13:1,2 where symbolism comes from Dn7. Counting the heads--total 7. They are:

•Babylon-first head(1)

•Meds-Persian-second head(2)

•Greek-four heads(3,4,5,6)

•Roman-seventh head(7)

The Roman Empire (pagan+papal) was that 7 head which ruled a "short space"42 months until the beast from the pit-8th head-took over. The pit beast is earlier found Rv 11 rising after 1260 thus 1798. The same beast from the earth Rv13.
