English Accent When Speaking Chinese (Mandarin)? 外国口音说普通话/國語?

I made this video a couple weeks back, but I didn't get very much time to edit it until now. It's a video about pronunciation and accent in another language other than English. The Chinese translation (written part) was helped by Google translate a little bit. I'm not very good at writing, so excuse the grammar.

I want to know, there are so many people that always say, ''Oh your English has a strong or slight foreign accent.'' But I always wondered, what about other languages? Like when I speak Chinese (Mandarin), I'm sure I have a strong foreign accent too. Does it bother you very much? How bad is it?

If you speak Mandarin, Cantonese, or any Chinese language, I'm sure you've heard variations in Mandarin a lot. What do you think when I speak Mandarin, does it sound hilarious or crazy? I need to work on my pronunciation :O

If you don't speak Chinese, still, tell below what you think about Mandarin? Do you like it? Does it sound like I'm singing or does it sound harsh/smooth?

This might be a useless video, I don't know. I hope not, only time will tell.

People who speak Mandarin natively say I have a very hilarious accent? Maybe I do... hahaha

Hey, I think your Mandarin is understandable. And yet, you do have English accent when you speak Mandarin. Oh, you are from Vancouver? There are so many ppl from Mainland China nowadays! Practice w/ them or listen to the Chinese TV.

I can understand you. It is OK to have accent. We all speak English with accents. Practice makes perfect. Work on vocabulary and expressions. Good luck!

you sound VERY english i can say as a hongkonger with some knowledge of mandarin. but then i'm curious, are there different 'foreign' mandarin accents? like you know when somebody speaking english is french, chinese, indian, etc. Not sure if yours is the ''candian mandarin'.
