what if its like this +7- -3

turn the double negative into just one sign. - - becomes a positive so the new problem is +7+3 = +10.

If there is ever 2 signs right next to each other, change them into one:

- - becomes +

+ - becomes -

- + becomes -

+ + becomes +

ur one of the best tutor i have ever seen thank you so much just a quick question lets us say if it was like the is 5++4, i belive you dont have to change the signs righta..?

and uno for this question: diver dives to a depth of -27 meters. a second diver dives to a depth of -16 meters. what is the difference in the depth of the divers. i got 43 but its meant to be 11 hows that possible.
