i'm an athiest but i cannot stand people who make fun of those who are religious. Just like it's my choice to be an athiest, it's others choices to choose a religion and if you don't believe it fine, but what business is it of yours to criticise others and something so dear to them?

@reballare I do pity atheists, and every soul who does not believe in God.

I am not better then others. The difference is this, God showed me my sin and my need for a Savior. God has redeemed me, and not because I was better than others or because I did anything special in my past. Repent of your sins as I did and God will forgive you. Jesus Christ was killed in our place. Accept His gift of eternal life with Him in Heaven.

Everyone will have life after death. Hell exists as well as Heaven.

@JulieMorrel1 "I'll just pray God opens your eyes to His truth before it's too late" - Thats not a sanctimonious or pompous thing to say at all. You might not "insult" atheists per say, but your choice of word suggest you pity atheists and believe yourself to be better because you think you have access to a devine knowledge and are privileged enough have life after death. No?

@Brianpowers1992 Hey ya'll, I'm a christian. My parents are christians. And just to set ya straight, My parents did not oppress me with their beliefs or force anything on me. They simply educated me on what they believed and handed me a bible. And I didn't go shopping for a religion, God chose me, I didn't choose Him first.

I don't insult you guys at all for being atheists. I'll just pray God opens your eyes to His truth before it's too late.

I was driving with my father(who is a stone, a rock, an island) and I convinced him to let me plug my Zune in the stereo. I hit shuffle. Four songs in "Laughing With" came on and this hard man, who works as a machinist 80 plus hours a week and lives alone, and has no friends, and eat TV dinner everyday, began to well up. He shied his head away so I could not see the tears.
